Akwaaba FM will aim to educate, inform and entertain while pursuing a spirit of creativity and the highest level of professionalism. This radio station will encourage the pursuit, respect and development of African culture, highlighting the six main ethnic groups in Ghana, the Akan (Ashanti and Fanti), the Ewe, the Ga-Adangbe, the Mole-Dagbani, the Guan, and the Gurma cultures in particular and the African culture in general. Akwaaba FM will promote African culture as an important part of our national heritage. The station will provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and information and will broadcast a wide range of cultural arts, entertainment and educational programmes that reflect an important element of our African heritage.
